Shipping policy

  • Because each BASCULE furnishing is handcrafted and often made to order, your order will ship once production is complete. Typical lead times range between 3-8 weeks depending on complexity, material availability, and current queue. Lead times may be longer than 8 weeks for large or highly customized projects.

  • We work with trusted carriers for freight and white-glove delivery. For large or fragile pieces, we may partner with specialized transport companies.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout (or can be estimated in your quote) based on weight, dimensions, destination, and delivery method (e.g. curbside, threshold, room-of-choice).

  • For select projects, we offer personal white-glove delivery within a limited radius. Please inquire for your area when ordering.

  • Once shipped, you will receive tracking information and periodic delivery updates.

  • BASCULE is not responsible for delays caused by carrier issues (weather, customs, etc.), but if a delivery is delayed excessively, we will work with you to resolve it.

  • Damage in transit must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery. Take photos of any damage and contact us immediately so we can file a claim and arrange repair or replacement.

  • If you provide an incorrect shipping address and the carrier returns the package, you will be responsible for additional shipping costs to re-ship.
